Overall Thoughts:
Good Girls offers some not-so-subtle messages about how tough it is to be a mother. I really rooted for Beth, Ruby and Annie because, throughout their escapades, they always want what’s best for their family, even if they make some less-than-helpful decisions.
What Makes This Show Special:
We can certainly identify with the problems surrounding these middle-class families. Good Girls allows us to fantasize about how we might address these same problems if our unfiltered conscious allowed us to.
Beware Of:
There are a few instances where I had to work hard to feel comfortable with the story turns of Good Girls, but because the tone of the show is at times fairly light, I was OK trading some far-fetched twists for an enjoyable piece of entertainment.
For Dawg Eyes Only: When humans get in trouble, they really do some crazy things. And money trouble really sucks the juice out of their brain. Should we enjoy watching this? It's my Guilty Pawsure.
