Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is a fantasy to bask in. It's a love story where Scott Pilgrim must battle to extremes, to defeat the seven exes of Ramona, who he wishes to have as his girlfriend. Visually, we experience things that would only appear in a weird dream, sometimes random, sometimes sensible. Strange dialogue, bizarre characters, gravity-defying choreography. All of the things a satisfying fantasy-love-story should have!
What Makes This Movie Special:
Beyond the odd graphics and unexpected super-hero moves, the engaging characters are played by a cast of many appealing names: Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Anna Kendrick, Aubrey Plaza, Kieran Culkin, Jason Schwartzman, Mae Whitman, and Ellen Wong as Knives Chau.
Beware Of:
If convention is your thing, you may be put off by Scott Pilgrim. Everything about it is unconventional, keeping you on your toes.
